Vera Penkova

Vera Penkova was born in 1955 in Omsk, Siberia. After graduating from Omskiy State Pedagogical University with a degree in English and German languages, she moved to the Moscow suburban city of Kaliningrad (renamed Korolev in 1996). She recently retired from teaching English classes for primary and high school students in the Korolev schools and continues tutoring English to children and adults in her home. Vera visited Barb and Milton McMinimy twice in Kansas and twice in Oregon during the past 28 years and hopes to make another visit in the near future.
